My Experience with Dove Nourishing Secrets Restoring Coconut Spray:

The product comes in a white metallic can with the symbol of coconut on the top denoting the variant. The lotion spray is inspired by the beauty rituals from India. There is a small Indian map at the bottom corner denoting it. The lotion doesn’t come with a cap. I was pretty astonished at first, as I thought that it was a tester and only when I saw the others, I realized it is how it looks like. It looks a spray deo without a cap. I wish they included a cap. However, they have a different mechanism. You can rotate the cap to close the nozzle. While I am not a big fan of this concept, just using it without a cap especially for travelling seems to be like a good idea. There is information about the product on the back of the bottle. The bottle is travel-friendly.

There is a nozzle spray that sprays the lotion. There is enough force and it sprays the lotion effectively. The lotion has a runny texture and is white in color. The density is good enough to be sprayed. The body lotion is extremely lightweight. It smells like Thailand sweet coconut but is not very strong like one would expect it to be. The smell stays on for a while.

The lotion is very similar to the coconut milk you get at stores. The bottle must be kept at a distance and then spray it onto your skin. It doesn’t cause any redness or itchiness and is suitable for all skin tones. Since it is extremely lightweight, I thought it would be good enough for winters. But, the lotion is rich and eliminates any dryness or dry flakes from the skin. The lotion moisturizes the skin very effectively. It gets absorbed instantly and doesn’t leave any greasy residue. It makes the skin very supple and soft within a few minutes from application.

My skin feels very nourished and the moisturization lasts for around 8 hours which is great. The product is also great after a shave or epilation. The product provides instant hydration and is great to use outdoors too. The product contains parabens and silicones which is a bummer but other than that, I have no complaints about the product.
